In November 2017, the annual photo art fairs "Paris Photo" and "fotofever" took place again. Exhibitors were  numerous art galleries at both fairs. While the galleries represented on the Paris Photo usually represent already established artists, some of which are even no longer alive, fotofever is clearly focused on living and developing artists.

Art-Glossary of photographic techniques

The photography festival "Paris Photo" and the Ville de Paris have partnered to create an online visual glossary of photographic techniques. For example: albumen prints, ambrotypes, canotype, daguérrotype, silver gelatin prints and pigment inkjet prints. This is not only interesting for art collectors, but also for other art and photography enthusiasts in general.  In addition, some old techniques are again popular, e.g. wetplate or collodium photography.

Three photo festivals in Paris 2013

This year's trade fair took place again at the Grand Palais in the Avenue Winston Churchil in the center of Paris. Located near the River Seine and not far from the Place de la Concorde, the Palais was completed in 1900 for the World Exposition and has dimensions. Nevertheless, no square meter remained unused. The number of exhibitors from more than 30 nations rose again in 2013: 136 galleries and 28 publishers found their way to the French capital.
